Fr. Michael Baggot, LC, Ph.D., is a bioethicist based in Rome and one of the Catholic Church's leading voices on transhumanism and emerging technology. He is a Professor of Bioethics at the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum, teaches at the Angelicum and the Catholic Institute of Technology, and serves as a Research Scholar at the UNESCO Chair in Bioethics and Human Rights. He sits on the Scholarly Advisory Board for Magisterium AI and is the editor of Enhancement Fit for Humanity: Perspectives on Emerging Technologies (Routledge, 2022). His work has appeared in First Things, Nova et Vetera, and The National Catholic Bioethics Quarterly, and he has been featured on NBC, PBS, EWTN, Pints with Aquinas, and the Future of Life Institute podcast.
